This I Believe–Dan

I believe that all people should eat chicken instead of turkey on Thanksgiving because chicken is good. I like chicken and you like chicken we all like chicken. Eat Mor Chikn!!! For example every Thanksgiving I have ever had, my family had a turkey. And every year, no matter who makes it, the white meat is always dry. It is horrible! I just put gravy on it and then everyone is upset because I took a lot of the gravy. I have never had to put gravy on my chicken. Turkey costs more than chicken. I’m not sure on the price because I’m not a butcher but a whole turkey costs twice as much as a whole chicken. That’s two chickens for the price of one turkey! You can save your money for the next upcoming holiday. And most important of all is you don’t really fry turkey. You can, but I have never seen it before. And I have heard that it’s dangerous. Can you imagine fried chicken for Thanksgiving? Yum! Those are three perfect reasons to fry up a chicken (or two) instead of a 20 pound turkey for Thanksgiving. So people listen to me! I know what I’m talking about. I believe that chicken should be used for turkey on Thanksgiving! ***Just think of all those turkeys lives you are saving***

Chicken is better. I have to wonder about saving turkeys lives though. If you buy 2 chickens instead of 1 turkey, you are killing twice as many animals. Either way, I agree with you on the fried chicken for Thanksgiving belief. YUM!!

Chicken is better. Turkeys are drier than chickens. However, you will be killing twice as many chickens. They are really good though. ^^

You make a good point about eating fried chicken for Thanksgiving, but I’ve had fried turkey before! It tasted really good, although it wasn’t for Thanksgiving. Anyway, I think we should eat fried turkey, not fried chicken, and not normal turkey, for Thanksgiving. Think about it. It sounds good.
