This I Believe–Isma

Posted by jefferson8 on January 18th, 2008

Who do you believe in? Well look around .There are so many things, people to believe in but the question is can you believe in it?  I believe in myself.  There are so many things about me people hasn’t seen yet.  I believe in myself because  I have trust in myself .I love myself.  I am really different from others. I can depend on myself also. I really had strong trust for myself.            Why do I believe myself …. I believe in myself because   when I am hurt or in a problem   there is really nobody there for me but myself.  My hands were my tissues when I was crying. There was a day that my mother and to leave me because she was sick. There was not a day I left my mom so it was hard for her to leave me. I had no choice but to go to school go. That’s really hard but I had no choice but to start depending on myself. Even though I was young and my parents were saying that depending is not for me until high school but I did it anyway. The last thing I wanted to do was rely on a guy. Life for me was  take  it or leave it and you had to be wise about what you take. All I could do was say I believe in myself so I will do it.     I am different from others.  In all kinds of way.   I trust in myself to do good things in life. I trust the words that come out of my mouth when I speak. I trust the ones that love me the most like my mother or father. I trusted myself because I was   different.   Acting  different every day. Should be a part of your life. Life depends on your  mood that you wake up with. You should not be scared be ready for anything at anytime.  I really don’t put my own self down.  I am proud of the way I look that is the way I dress the way  I talk toward other grown  up’s. I really don’t care about what  people  think about.   Depending. That’s really hard, but I had no choice but to start depending on myself. Even though I was young and my parents were saying that depending is not for me until high school, I did it anyway.  The last thing I wanted was to rely on a guy. Life for me was take it or leave it and you had to be wise about what you take. All I could do was say I believe in myself so I will do it.  Believe in what you do and who you are. Mostly believe in yourself that’s where it starts from. Care back and love back for the one who cares for you and love you the most. Trust in yourself have confidence in what  you do the most.  Do you trust in yourself? Wake up one morning  write about what happen in your life and maybe than you can believe in yourself. If  you really care about yourself. Realize  how your life is going and how went it went….

isma, i liked your speech very much. i dont think that many people normally ask themselves that question. its very interesting for you to ask your audience. it made me sit there and actually ask myself the question and think really hard about it. also i liked how you used personal evidence that related to your topic.
