This I Believe–Jeremy

I believe I can become a pro baseball player because I’m a good athlete and am an excellent teammate. I have baseball homework every night to make me a better player. Such as go through the motion and throw a ball around to make my arm stronger. These are much greater things than simple school homework we get every week. I have always kept my head high even when we lose. I play my hardest in every game. When I play there’s nothing going through my head except playing my best effort. My coaches always say “your playing time is determined by how hard you play.” So if I play and practice hard I will never sit on the bench.
One game I was pitching and we lost 35 to 0, but I held my teammates through that loss. I came and gave them a pep talk after words saying to hold their heads high. The game itself is life, but when I lose it’s not life or death situation. Like when people lose a game they usually start crying but they should just get over it. It’s not the last game they will ever play. I believe I can become a professional baseball player because I’m a good and respectful player. I am a beast when I’m in the zone. When the game starts I never give up. I will never stop loving the game or the things that lead to the game like practice.
