This I Believe–Da’Lisa

Posted by jefferson8 on 19th December 2007

I believe that haters hate on successful people because they can’t be successful themselves.

People wonder why haters hate and my reason is because of success. Being successful is a main key in the world. If you’re not successful then basically you’re nobody. They have to try and seek out attention from anyone that is willing to give them that. Rather it’s snitching, trying to be like them, or backstabbing anyone to get higher success that is what any hater will do. There is no denying in my beliefs that haters are the lowest class of people.

I remember back this summer I went back to Georgia and there was a group of girls that hated on me for no reason. I don’t know whether it was because I was dressed fresh, or I was looking good, but I was kind of like what Mike Jones said in his song, “back then they didn’t want me, but now I’m hot they all on me”. They were doing whatever it took to bring me down anybody would classify them as a group of haters. They were talking behind my back. I didn’t mind though because if they keep my name in their mouth 24/7 it is obvious that I was doing something right for them to talk so much about me. I know I’m doing something right in life because if I wasn’t then the spotlight wouldn’t be on me all the time. I believe that some people don’t believe that because they have been stuck on getting famous that they forgot to do for themselves than for others. I mean anybody can get popular, but it takes time to get at the high level of popularity and I guess it’s true when they say “Behind every successful person there lays a pack of haters”.

I believe that haters hate on successful people because they can’t be successful themselves. But you have to remember to never let people like that bring you down, because I personally believe that haters are motivators and keep me well known! And with the success, fame, and popularity that I plan to have in the future I should be well known everywhere!
