I believe that you shouldn’t be discriminated by where you live or what you have. I believe this because it happens everyday to people that aren’t the richest people with the most money. It is wrong to discriminate against anyone no matter what. If you think that you don’t discriminate at all there are different kinds of discrimination. The most common I see is discriminating is by what you have like clothes, house, car, etc. This is like saying your poor if you doesn’t have a good house car or house or you have bad clothes. Another kind is if you don’t go to a good school that you’re dumb or if you live in a bad neighborhood then you’re ignorant. But that’s not always true because there are a lot of pore people that are probably way smarter than you are. When you see a homeless person on the streets you probably think that they are dumb lazy people but most of them are really smart people that went to college and high school. Don’t think they are dumb lazy people. They just got it hard when they got out into the real world and never got out of there slump. Don’t just think people are dumb, ignorant, or lazy just by where they live or what they have. Don’t discriminate.

I believe that no one should judge you by the outside; if you have a good personality you shouldn’t be judged by the way you look or the clothes you wear the color shape or size you are. Everyone has flaws, there is no such thing as perfect. All that matters in a person is their personality and the way they act.
Every day I go to school, I get called names and get pushed around. I’m tired of it! I don’t like people getting pushed around including myself. Everyone should be treated the same way and looked at the same way. You shouldn’t give people dirty looks or call them names; you don’t even know what the person is like. You should give everyone a chance no matter what they look like. I think you should be who you want to be, without anyone saying something about it. My best friend gets dirty looks in the hallway at school. I don’t think that would make someone feel good about them.
There are a lot of ways that you could make someone feel better about themselves, you could compliment them or maybe just even try to talk to that person. People might feel alone or scared. You just might need to be friendly and talk or walk with a friend. Just try to friends, or be helpful. You never know if a person is going through a hard time so you should just be nice. The way they look has nothing to do with the way they act or their personality.
Just remember you can be pretty on the outside and ugly on the inside or ugly on the outside and beautiful on the inside. What would you choose? I would choose to be ugly on the outside and beautiful on the inside. The reason I would choose this is because even though people would make fun of you wouldn’t you rather have true friends who like you for you not what is on the outside.

I believe that war is not good. People are now dying for no reason; families are falling apart because of this war. Children are not able to meet their parents because they are dying in the war. Men and women have to serve in the army instead of getting to watch their child grow up. People are dying like they do in poor countries, comparing it to starvation in other countries this is very close to the amount dying in the war. We have been in this war for a long time and we shouldn’t have even started this war. We need to get out of the war because our people are fighting for no reason. I don’t like the war because they are dying for no reason and they just keep sending out more and more troops.

I Believe that racism is wrong. No one should be judged because of their religion, race or the color of their skin!
When I was a little girl about five years old, I learned about this problem that had been going on in the world called racism. Racism had been in the world fo ever. There was never a time when there was not racism or segregation. You see I am bi-racial and I am mixed with white and black. So me, being mixed with two different races was kind of hard as a child and still now as a teenager.
I remember a while back when me and my cousin went to the movies there was a group of people that looked at us with hate in their eyes. My cousin is also bi-racial and she is mixed with black and Mexican but the color of her skin is black. They looked at us with hate in their eyes because we had black in us and they knew it. I remember when I asked my cousin why are they staring at us like that she said because…our race.
After I heard my cousin say those words I was lost and confused like a lost puppy. I remember going home and saying to myself why would anyone judge me because of the color of my skin. Why would anyone judge someone that they don’t know? It hurt me so much and made me mad. I was always taught never to judge anyone. No one is perfect. I then realized that the world was not a pretty and happy place.
A couple of years ago my family and I went to Mississippi to visit my aunt, uncle and cousins. My cousin and I went to the gas station to go get some snacks. There was a white man outside of the gas station and wouldn’t come in. He was just standing out there doing nothing. Once we walked out the gas station the white man walked in. I said to myself we did absolutely nothing to this man! But because of our race he couldn’t walk into the same gas station we were at. I had every emotion in my body after that. I was mad, sad, hurt, afraid, angry etc.
Now I say to myself anyone that judges anybody because of their race is sad. They’re not worth my time and I will live my life with happiness and not anger. I pray for the people who are racists because they are missing out on life. For all they know the people who they’ve judged could’ve changed their lives. I will never judge anyone because it is not my place to. I will love everyone no matter what their race is.
